Iv Cellars, in collaboration with Sciacca Grill, Valletta is proud to present the “Zuccardi Gastronomic Experience”, featuring some of Zuccardi’s world class wines from Valle de Uco, in Argentina.
Since its conception in 1963, Zuccardi has been one of Argentina`s pioneering wineries. The estate continues to be so in the safe hands of the third generation with Sebastián Zuccardi, who has inherited the same determination and desire to create world-class wines. Tim Atkin MW, one of the most authoritative critics on South American wines, once described Sebastián as “one of the key players in the Argentinian wine revolution... producing some of their finest wines in the process.” This sentiment has been echoed by many critics, like Robert Parker, where their top wines receive 95+ scores and in some cases 100-point scores, on regular basis. For Sebastián, terroir and sense of place are paramount as he said he doesn’t “strive for perfect wines, but wines that express the place and region” - this philosophy could not be more evident with Aluvional, Piedra Infinita, Supercal, and Gravascal.
