Petra Toscana Rosso IGT is a red wine produced by the Agricultural Company Petralocated in Suvereto in the Tuscany Maremma. This brand born from the Moretti family, famous for the production of the Franciacorta, who had the will to start this adventure in these lands. The grapes are Cabernet and Merlot. The fermentation takes place with local yeast and it is a natural process in oak vats. The refinement is in barrels and in French oak barrels for 18 months, follows 18 months of bottle refinement.
Sensory Features: Esthetically it has an intense purple red colour. The scent is complete, complex and deep with some ripe fruit flavours and a spicy aftertaste. The taste is equilibrated with some marasca cherry jam aroma with rosemary and coffee touches. The tannin is very fine in sintony with a fresh acidity.
