Sensory features: This wine is a lively yellow of mid-range intensity and it appears crystalline in the glass. It‟s perfumes are clear-cut and well-defined. You‟ll discover meadow flowers, jasmine and pear. To the mouth, it‟s compact and vibrant, approachable and pleasant. This wine boasts good structure and persistence and it gives off an agreeable mineral taste that adds flavour at the finish.

Technical Notes

Grape variety: 100% Friulano. Grown on Marly and eocenic at an altitude of 130 –170m above sea level in the Oleis di Manzano area.

Vinification: The de-stemmed grapes are softly pressed and macerated at low temperatures. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in steel at a constant temperature of 16°C. The wine remains on the yeast for approx. four months and after bottling, it is refined in the bottle for at least two months.

Best Served: Often served in Friuli as an aperitif, this wine is a magnificent match for typical cold-cuts from the region, especially San Daniele prosciutto. It pleasantly accompanies fresh, fatty cheeses, omelettes with herbs, flavourful risotto dishes and fish-based specialties. It‟s traditionally matched with eggs and asparagus.
