Altro Merlot Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Price € 28.40

altromerlot

It was 1987 when, among the vineyards of Torre Rosazza, the idea was born to produce a different wine than the Friulian tradition of the time. From this need was born Altromerlot, probably the first Friulian wine to be aged for a long time in French oak barrels, "other" than the merlot that could be tasted at that time. Twenty vintages later, Altromerlot became a standard of undisputed elegance and still remains "other" as a sign of the uncompromising and uninterrupted attention that comes from the vineyard to the table.
